doubt 作动词，后面接宾语从句，核心考点就是肯定句否定句疑问句，引导词选择不一样，这也是四六级高考高频考点，肯定句常用 whether 或者 if，否定句疑问句常用 that，很多同学最容易混淆这个规则，记住本质逻辑，doubt 意思是怀疑，肯定句里面是怀疑这件事是否成立，所以用是否类引导词，否定句里面是不怀疑，也就是确信，所以用 that 引导陈述内容。

1 肯定句 doubt + whether /if 宾语从句

主句是肯定形式，doubt 表示对后面内容存疑，不确定真假，翻译为怀疑是否。

whether 和 if 大部分情况可以互换，但是有优先规则，从句后面有 or not，只能用 whether，不能用 if。

例句

I doubt if she knows the truth.

I doubt whether he can pass the exam or not.

2 否定句 don't doubt + that 宾语从句

主句带否定，don't doubt 等于 be sure，翻译为不怀疑，确信，从句是确定陈述内容，引导词固定 that，that 在口语里面可以省略。

例句

We don't doubt that you are honest.

We don't doubt that the plan will work.

3 疑问句 Do you doubt + that 宾语从句

一般疑问句结构，同样属于否定逻辑类考点，引导词用 that。

例句

Do you doubt that we can finish the task on time?

Did he doubt that the report was true?

第一 肯定句错误写成 I doubt that he will come，这个是典型错题，肯定 doubt 不能直接接 that
