【五年级英语作文:Spring（Festival及小学五年级英语作文）】The Spring Festival is the most important holiday in China. It usually comes in January or February. Everyone in my family is very happy during this time.

Before the Spring Festival, we clean our house and buy new clothes. We also put up red couplets on the door. Red is a lucky color in China. My parents and I go to the market to buy food like meat, vegetables, and fruits. We cook a big dinner on the night before the festival.

On the first day of the Spring Festival, I wear new clothes and visit my grandparents. We eat dumplings together. My grandfather gives me red envelopes with money inside. I feel very excited. We also watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV. There are many funny shows and beautiful dances.

After the festival, I go back to school. But I still remember the happy time with my family. The Spring Festival is a time for family, happiness, and good wishes.

I love the Spring Festival very much.
