【英语日记优秀范文:food(safety)】April 5, 2025
Monday
Today, I learned something very important in my health class. Our teacher talked about food safety. At first, I didn’t think it was a big deal, but after listening carefully, I realized how important it is to eat safely.
We discussed different ways that food can become unsafe. For example, if we don’t wash our hands before eating, bacteria can get into our food. Also, if food is not stored properly, like leaving meat out for too long, it can go bad and make us sick. My teacher showed us some pictures of people who got sick from eating contaminated food. It was really scary.
I also learned that we should always check the expiration dates on food packages. Sometimes, even if the food looks fine, it might be spoiled inside. Another thing I remember is that cooking food thoroughly is very important. Undercooked chicken, for instance, can carry harmful germs that can cause serious illness.
After the class, I went home and told my mom about what I had learned. She was happy that I was paying attention and said she would be more careful when preparing meals. I also decided to wash my hands more often and keep my kitchen clean.
I think everyone should know about food safety. It’s not just about avoiding sickness—it’s about taking care of our health. I will try to be more careful with what I eat and how I handle food.
In conclusion, today’s lesson made me realize that small habits can make a big difference in keeping us healthy. I hope more people pay attention to this important topic.
